Ballard will sell its head office building site in Burnaby, British Columbia in return for gross cash proceeds of approximately C$20.8 million (US$19.5 million). The company will also enter into an initial fifteen-year lease agreement for the same property. The transaction is expected to close on March 9, 2010.

/CNW/ - Alange Energy Corp (TSXV: ALE) ("Alange Energy" or the "Company") announced today that the Barranquero-1 well, drilled to explore the prospectivity of the Carbonera C-7 formation in Polygon B of the Cubiro Block, found 15 feet of net oil sand. Well tests performed along the perforated interval 5,825 to 5,848 feet measured depth (MD) have shown an initial production rate of 560 barrels per day of 28 degrees API oil with 10% BS&W, on natural flow. These results represent a new discovery in the Cubiro Block, located in the Llanos Basin of Colombia, and merit an extensive evaluation aimed at a separate development program for this reservoir.

/CNW/ - JSC Atomredmetzoloto ("ARMZ"), the Russian state-owned uranium mining company, announced today that it has entered into option agreements by which it may acquire ownership over an aggregate of 18,963,600 outstanding common shares of Uranium One Inc. ("Uranium One"), which represent approximately 3.2% of the outstanding common shares of Uranium One. The options are not currently exercisable but ARMZ has the right to exercise them within the next 60 days, and as such, is deemed to beneficially own the outstanding common shares for certain purposes under applicable Canadian securities laws.

The Ministry of Rural Development has released grant in aid worth Rs. 100,74,50,000/- (Rupees One Hundred crore Seventy Four Lakh and Fifty Thousand only) as 1st installment of Batch V (Supplementary) under ADB assisted RRSIP to the Madhya Pradesh Rural Roads Development Agency (MPRRDA for the construction of Rural Roads in the State under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana. MPRRDA is an Autonomous Body for receiving funds under PMGSY and is a duly Registered Society under Society Registration Act, towards the projects cleared by Asian Development Bank (ADB).
